Does anyone have an idea of the resistance of the tank on a 66 dart when it is full and when it is empty? I went to install a new age gas gauge but they need to know the resistance of the tank at lease levels. If anyone has experience with this your advice would be a savior.

Thanks Johnny P

5.0 to 8.0 ohms with tank completely full
60 to 75 ohms with tank nearly empty.

The guage i am looking at has a 73ohm empty and 8-12ohm full. The 73 ohms seems like it should be ok but is the full load too much or do you think i could get away with it?

Thanks for the help, it is really apreciated.

Johnny P

For after market gauges, you can use gas gauge for a Ford.
