On plastic? I was assembling a plastic piece of a tool today, and my hands were spotless before I started, then suddenly I realized they had black marks on them, from the liquid wrench softening/melting the plastic and it coming off on my hands. First time I saw this happen! |

There is something in the skin of an orange ( orange oil, like in the infomertial cleaners?) that can soften some plastics. Try crushing an orange skin over some styrofoam, and you will see it get damaged. |

Bend an orange peel in front of a lighter flame, mini flame thrower! Cecil |

SlantCecil, I always do that when we have candles lit on the table. You can get some pretty impressive flames that way. Any citrius peel works, lemon, grapefruit, etc. |

The citrus concentrate plants extract 'peel oil' and sell it in 55gal drums. I'm not sure what manufacturing processes it is used in. Cecil |

55gallons of pure citrus oil? Whoa that'd take a buncha fruit to make! |

The citrus oil breaks down grease !! So cleaners like "Orange Glo" are pretty good at cleaning greasy kitchen messes. And are easy to tout as environmentally friendly. Wonder how soon before we are using Citrus cleaner to tank our blocks? |
