Anybody know the capacity of the gas tank in a 73 Duster? It doesn't say in my manual and with the gas gauge not quite right yet, I need to use the old mileage routine for awhile and it would sure help to know the capacity. Thanks everyone.

Mike

I can't remember for sure but I know depending on the exact A body model it varied from 16 to 18 gallons.

Later Duster's usually got the 16 gallon tank, if you got lucky enough to have a feather Duster you'd have a 14 gallon tank...

I always watch my fill ups so I know what my gauge kind of reads...many mopars sometimes only read 3/4 on the gauge yet the tank is full...(My '74 has 7 gallons in the tank at 'E'.... )

My Valiant has an 18 gallon tank. when the needle is on E it takes 16-16.5 to fill it.

According to my '74 Dodge Operator's Manual (Dart), it is 16 gallons.
