hi, i working on taking stuff off my 74 valiant and was wondering how to get the dash pad off? i can see the bottom of some screws but not the top, what do i have to do to get at these?[/list] |

I just took the dash pad off of a 74 Valiant last week and put it on my 70 valiant. there are 5 nuts that need to be taken off along the top and 2 screws(one on each corner by each door) thay all are accessable from under the dash. you need to remove the glovecompartment and the gage cluster. After removing both it still aint easy. ![]() here is a pic of the corner of the one I took off, you can see one stud and the little hole where the screw goes in. I think the nuts are 3/8" and the screws are 5/16" gool luck! |

thanks, the glove box/gauges/everything is out of the dash, so maybe it will be a little easier then yours... |
