would a carter bbd for a 318 76-77 dodge truck or a 77 dodge car work well on a super six setup on my 7 dart swinger? i just dont know about using the newer carb on my older car, would this work ok? ive also read something about the choke on the 318 carb not working with the super six. any help would be appreciated.

Yes, a later 318 BBD will work but there will be some unused vacuum fittings that will need to be plugged.

The choke flap "eyelet" is at a different angle on the V8 carbs but that can be swapped, it just bolts on.

im not sure what a choke flap eyelet is. im going to have a super six bbd. will what i need to bolt on to the 318 carb be included with the super six carb more than likely?

does a 73 exhaust manifold have a rectangular counter weight or a round counter weight?
