Post subject:  Question about 360/340 valve springs

because I was looking for some 340 valve springs on ebay and came across this

I believe the 340 springs are stiffer because the 340 was designed to be a high revving engine. Six thousand + rpm is nothing for a stock 340.

The stock 340 springs are good for a cam lift of around .525". The springs you have listed there probably wouldn't do much more thn a stock Slant spring.
