I just picked up a Mopar Performance MSD6AL box on ebay. I was brand new at $125.00 so I thought I'd get one. Summit sells theirs for $190++. What is the difference? I hope I can use it... if not I'm sure I can get my money back reselling. There has been a guy on ebay selling a bunch of them at that price and up to $180.00 the last couple months. Let me know what you think. Joe |

AFAIK, the only differences are the sticker that says Mopar instead of MSD, and the color of the box. MSD produced ignition boxes for all of the big three's aftermarket programs, but they all seem to be the same as MSD's originals. You got a pretty good deal on that box, most people think the rebadged MSD boxes are something special, and the bids usually go pretty high. |

I have 2 of the MP MSD6-AL boxes. The only difference is the cover. I have all the wiring diagrams if you did not get them with your box. |
