I've been reading some of the post and heard some people post about 10in drums on the read axles. I was wondering what vehickles these were off of because as far as I new all darts had 9 inch in the back. |

My donor car 75? Dart with discs came with 10" drums ....I swapped rear axles at the same time as the discs to get a nice balanced setup. BTW I was at Spaldings last Friday..What a place! |

Spaldings is great, last time I was their they had a really good collection of cars that had interchangeable parts to(Volares, Valiants, Corbodas, etc). Good since I was needing brake stuff. Also, the cars with the 10 in drums in the back I'm guessing have the big bolt pattern. Soon I'm going to be having an odd setup of big bolt in the front and small bolt in the back and an upgrade in read brakes sounds adenturous(notice that I didn't say need BTW, in Spokane they also have a place called Pick and Pull. Their selection is limited but if you call them and they have something in they are, in my opinion, the second best self pull wrecking yard in Spokane. |

A 10 x 1 3/4 drum was offered for the SBP axles, these started in1964 with the 273 V8 option cars. All the A-Body 8 3/4 axles also used this set-up but with a different (5 hole) backing plate. DD |

All of the 1973-1976 disc brake A-body cars whether they had a 7 1/4 or an 8 1/4" rear got 10" rear drums (have two perfect 1974 examples in my shed of each axle)... -D.Idiot |
