I've just been told the outside rearview mirror I have for my '60 valiant is an aftermarket. It looks nearly like an original, but has no casting #'s anywhere, is rim-less (around the mirror), and has an adjuster which is an integral part of the long, bullet-shaped back.

So if that's the case, what does an original look like? I have the factory outside rearview that goes to my '64 Dart sedan but I don't think they're identical. Can someone who has a factory original mirror for a '60 valiant email me a pic or two of it? my email is coliseumltd@earthlink.net. Or if you could describe any differences.

Do you want it as a mate for the passenger side or is yours bad?
Im fairly sure that it is factory from the early pics that Ive seen.
