I know that driving with low line pressure can kill a tranny. What happens if my kickdown rod is too long and the line pressure is too high? it shifts firmly, near violently (i don't complain) |

The biggest problem is usually a super harsh shift into reverse. Reverse gets the most line pressure to begain with so even more can result in a broken reverse band. DD |

It would pay to fiddle with the linkage some more until it's right. Is the rod too long or just staying back (hitting something)? If it's too long, it could keep you from getting full throttle! Or, if it's sticking on something, someday hang the throttle open |

It was too long. I shortened and now it's fine. Thanks for your answer. Juan. |
