Most steering wheels have an emblem or cover in the middle that usually pops off. After that's popped off you can rent a steering whell puller or buy one(they're cheap, the parts guys will know what you're talking about when you ask for one so you don't need to know what it looks like). When you get the tool and see the emblem off you'll pretty much be able to figure out what to do. (three bolts, three holes, and two of them are empty while on of them is full). This is how most steering wheels are, usually the emblem being the hardest thing to take off at times |

Cool. Thanks. How does the horn button come off? I think I read something about pushing it in and turning it counter-clockwise? If it's on there tight, how do I know I'm doing it correctly? ...you know, so I don't break it as is my habit. thanks, josh |

On a 64, the plastic center of the horn ring (with the anniversary logo) gets pried out carefully, then there are three phillips screws with insulating washers that hold the metal part of the ring on. Take those screws out and the metal ring and the spring-loaded horn button under it will come off. Disconnect the wire, and you're ready to start pulling. Notice that the horn button has little nubs on it so it only goes back on one way! Also the wheel/steering shaft has a master spline so it's only supposed to go on one way. However, both points could be moot if a hacker has been in there before you |

I forgot to say that the turn-to-remove buttons came on later models, 67-up I think. |
