I am not able to find replacement seals for a 2 door 1974 Scamp or Dart. These are the vertical seals that attach to a chrome strip on the front of the window and seal to the door window. Paddock, Year One and Laysons all don't have it. Any help would be appreciated.

You might try:

hardensmcw.com

Their website leaves a lot to be desired, but you can call them with questions.

When you say seal the door to the window, that makes me think you are talking about what they call cat whiskers. There are two of these per door, one on the inside and one on the outside of the window, that stretch from the part of the door closest to the front fender, all the way to the back along the length of the window (horizontally). Maybe you were asking for the wrong part? Once you say cat whiskers they should know what your talking about.

Year One does sell these, listed in their web page as "A-Body Side-Glass Sealing Weatherstripping" I believe the later 2 door darts have the same doors as dusters/demons but verify that before you go buying on my word please. I bought all my weatherstripping from hardens probably 6-7 years ago and they had them at that time.

I think you are looking for window channel. There are many sources for this and JC Whitney is usually the least expensive.

Restorationspecialties.com has a good supply, but you will probably need to measure your old channel before ordering. They list part number CHRY32230 that fits 67-74 A-bodies. This appears to be the type that moves up and down with the glass, though you describe it differently.

In the past, when I've been unable to find the exact match, I was was able to find something close enough to work.

I guess I didn't make myself clear. These are the rubber seals that are attached to the rear quarter windows. When the window is rolled up it seals to the door window. It is the vertical seal when the window is rolled up. It's not the catwhiskers and it's not the seal above the window. This is a 2 door Scamp. This seal is embedded in a chrome strip that is attached to the rear quarter window glass.
