Ok so I have encountered a problem. I was running the wires from the new switch down the column and oops. I taped the wires from new turn signal switch to the old wires and they kepts getting caught (my car is 1966 with auto on column). I gave a decent tug thinking that maybe with enough force it will come unstuck, sure did. the tape gaveway and the old wires came out and the new were half way in the column. So I how do I wire it now? Do I have to pull of the steering column just wire the turn signal switch? Caesar |

I would try an electrical fish tape as a last ditch effort before removing the column. Hopefully you can feed the flexible metal blade of the fish tape through the column and tape the new wires to it and pull it back through just like you were attempting to do with the old wires. Good Luck. |
