Doc made it up (that's a looong haul...) to our show and BBQ with his son Allen (Doc's son is a great guy too!).
Saturday morning Doc, Allen, 66Dart, and I had breakfast at Elmer's at 8 am.
We then got to Roberson's at 9am, registered and had a great show (lots of interest in the Hyperpak, and the Dual Weber setups!)
Doc even got 3rd place for A-body modified!!!!!!
Our 'core' online group was 66Dart, myself, BrettK, and Doc this time:
We got some good show and tell time in, and it looks like everyone has some great ideas for builds for the future. Doc brought his aluminum head, roller cam, and a roller rocker to show.
Later a few others from the show came over to chat with Doc (including Jack Poehler and his son Bill).
For anyone who missed it we had marinaded steak, potato salad, veggies, and strawberries and ice cream for desert...
Doc is a great guy in person...I would suggest to any board member to make an event he'll be at, it's worth it!
Unfortunately, Doc is such a 'bad influence'
, that he gave my 2 1/2 year old son a ride in his '65 Dart Convertible, and my son didn't want to get out of his car!!!!!! 
We'll try to invite Doc back again every couple of Years, so watch the calender and your 'Events' section of the board!!!!
