Mike Jeffrey beat Dale Rose in the Slant race on Saturday. Rodney Hargis was the lone semi-finalist.

Barry Harrison was low qualifier at 11:18.

Will Burns won the Fast Four on Sunday morning, uncorking the only 10 second passes of the weekend. Barry Harrison was his victim in the final.

Dale Rose and Jason Davis were the other 2 qualifiers.

Ron "Possum" Parker layed down an .002 package in the first round. :roll:

Bill Hoft driving my car whacked Mike Jeffrey big time on the tree in the second round, but broke out making Mike the recipient of the "Golden Horseshoe in the Butt" award. :twisted:

My car was the only entry in the Street Car shootout, so that is a dead issue. It will not be contested anywhere else. :shock:

No, the race didn't count because there were no Missouri cars according to Ron Parker. :shock:

The Drake clan sends their congrats to Mike J. for his Clay City win. I can not think of a more deserving slant six racer. This may make the tow home a little more enjoyable. :D

For some reason I get the feeling that Mike may tow north to PA before heading back West... :wink:

Mike left for West Virginaia from Clay City to visit friends before going to Pittsburgh. :shock:

Mike, Bill, Lou and I changed a trans in Mike's car before he left Sunday morning. He split the bellhousing in the final Saturday. I hope it holds up for him. :o
