Would like to know if there were any A-body cars to rob their electric windows for an upgrade to the '74 Dart Sport. Just curious, Jerry |

There was one place that advertised in the mopar magazines (might of been Mopar Action? ) that made kits to add to your standard door to make it power windows. I don't think this was the one I saw in the magazines a while back, but it seems promising and relatively cheap enough .... http://www.a1electric.com/catalog/cat_chrysler.htm I don't think any (at least A bodies) came with stock power windows, even the Valiant Brougham edition I saw once had manual style. |

Electric Life is the name of the company in the mags. Pretty reasonable if you ask me (around $200??). I don't think any A bods came with power windows, did they? Lou |

i installed the electric life setup and its nice. but a word of caution, the list it for i believe 67-76, its not. it really setup for 73-6 doors. i got them to work on my friends 71 duster, but it was defintately a interseting day to say the least. i did get them to work though. he called them and told them the door on 72 down is different but whether they changed them or not i dont know. i own a 73 and 74 so mine will bolt in as described. --chad |
