Hmmm... The yard in question is a mopar specialties yard, and they really know their stuff. Unfortunately this also means that they know when to overcharge :?

I wish I could locate a complete kit of this type within a hundred miles...

Unless the setup is ready to bolt on spit shined, $430 US is a rip.

You really only need the A arms (if you need to swap those) and spindles. Everything else you can buy new for that much probably, especially if your refering to the LBP single piston setup.

And for that matter, you can pull the upper control arms off a drum brake equipped '73-'76 A-body, and get the spindles from an F/M/J car. Or better yet, take everything between the ball joints from a '75 or later B/R body. Many of the junkyard vultures haven't learned about that swap. The local Pull-A-Part has the disc brakes vanish off A-bodies days after they arrive, while the later and bigger discs go untouched.

Call Ken Reeder (parts mgr) at Miles Chrysler in Woodburn. He has a set of very nice late model A body disc knuckles. The UCA's can be found in local yards. U-pull-it in Boring probably has them.

You ought to be able to assemble a kit with all new parts (with junkyard UCAs and spindles) for about $500. You could try offering them $300-350 if they're very nice JY parts?

The Yard is Wildcat Mopars outside Estacada, Or.

They are really nice parts generally, and the people are Very cool... still it doesn't really justify charging double the price something is worth. In all fairness they also have given me a good deal on some parts as well, so I suppose it evens out

I had a line on a complete setup, 3.21 geared suregrip 8.25 rear and a complete disc conversion for the front end for ~$300 total... Haven't heard from my friend in a while though... it's prolly gone by now.

I have a complete setup for disk brake swap for sale. It includes a the spindles with a arms, calipers (good rebuildable ones), good rotors (mounted to spindles), power brake booster with rebuildable master with bracket, rear end (front rotors and rear have matching larger bolt pattern), 5 15" police wheels (tires are no good) with good dog dish hubaps, proportioning valve.

As a bonus, I will throw in an electronic distributor and control module for the /6

If you need detals check out the photos at http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/woodma ... 8f&.src=ph

THESE PARTS ARE LOCATED IN THE SANTA CRUZ MOUNTAINS (CALIFORNIA 95033).

PRICE IS $100 CASH, I WON'T SHIP THESE PARTS.

I forgot to add that the photos clearly show the ID tag that was removed from the car.

Maybe one of the MOPAR gurus can decode the info on this to answer any questions.

I don't have the expertise or time to dig through the parts with casting numbers, rear end ratios etc. All of the parts were removed from the same car with 97,000 on the odometer.

I'm in the Portland area and I have a collection of the trickest brakes ever built for a Mopar in my shop. I even have some OEM stuff floating around. Shoot me an email if you want to stop by and buy some parts.
