I have a lot to do in the next few months...

Yes, it's the first slant six race of the season out here.
Friday and Saturday are qualifiers, (Two times runs each day.) Sunday is competition. (No time run.)
Lousy event if your into racing. Great one for the spectacle and slant six camaraderie.
I'm not sure who all is going this year. I won't be. Fuel from here and back last year was around $750. Just not enough trips down the track to justify the expense.
I still make the trip, but not every year at the cost.
The swap meet is usually pretty good. It was kind-of lame last year for slant six stuff. Just like any other swap meet, 80% junk, 2% treasure. There's a lot of stuff there, and it's not mixed with Chevy and Ford parts.

| The worst race format ever ,but a good meet due to the variety of stuff, You get a time trial Sunday but have to pay for it,the run for the money stuff, Last year they shorted the payout on various classes,i think this year is going to be real lean on car count. I dont know of anyone from norcal going this year. I fueled up last night for a sacramento bracket race today and diesel jumped fron 3.95 to 4.10 and premium this week from $3.79 to $4.15 and climbing. I am even rethinking going to Samoa several times this year as i usually do.
