I got this slant six for 100$ of a friend when it ran ...Ok, well i tried a couple things on it and i figured, i never rebuilt an engine before, why not now. So my question is what type of performance up grades could i make while i am doing this? I don't want to have problems when i get it all put back together and would like the extra muscle. Thanks for any replys here! I am working for the xtra money now before i go back to college for this project so i can't get too carried away but... well ya know.

It all depends on how much you like working on stuff and how much $$$ you've got to spend. Cam, exhaust improvements, bigger carburetor, electronic ignition (if it's not already set up with it) are your traditional starting points...
