 Post subject: Cam blank shortage?
PostPosted: Tue Jul 31, 2001 7:00 pm
I called Clifford Performance today to check on a cam that I ordered four weeks ago, and they havent even made it yet! They said that they are out of blanks and they did not know when they would be getting any because there is only one company in the USA that makes them and they are going out of business. Are they pulling my leg or what? I need a BIG cam soon! Something for a 198/2.2/hyperpac with high compression and high stall converter. THANKS! Darrin

Could you post some info on what grind you're getting made for your turbo application? I'm sure that lots of people would be interested to see it.

Sounds to me like "Uncle Jack" doesn't want to screw around with us "frugal" Slanters anymore.

I agree. I just wish that they would have told me that a month ago! I will try to call Reedcams on Monday and see if they can hook me up with something.
