Hey guys- The front seat in my Dart is ripped up. Any advice on where to buy a new one? It was shredded beyond repair when I purchased the car. I've covered the seat with a blanket for now but want to replace the cover. Thanks!

2-door w/buckets, 2-door w/split bench, 4-door w/standard bench, 4-door w/deluxe bench...?

4-door with bench. Not sure if it's the deluxe. Does the deluxe have the arm rest? Mine doesn't. Thanks!

You're probably at the mercy of the local economy, then. Every reasonably decent-sized area has at least one auto upholstery shop. If they can't give an exact match, they can often come very close. I know there're reproduction factory-duplicate new seat covers made for the 2-door types, but don't believe I've ever seen same for the 4-doors.

Where are you located, I have the pleasure of dealing with 95% of the smaller - medium upholsterers(?) in PA, OH, VA, WV, NY, and a few out further. Let me know if I can help you out.

I bought a set of custom-fit saddle blanket style seat covers from J.C. Whipme. They actually fit pretty well and cost only $120 or so (this was in 1997; prices may have gone up a little). So, in keeping with what appears to be J.C. Whitney's unofficial "It's either junk or out of stock" policy, they took their time to arrive. But I've had people guess my upholstery was much more expensive.

Ok, I just asked my dad and he says that we don't go into that area, we mostly deal with western NY. But there is another distributor there, that's what we are, that will be able to give you some names.

Redrum Fabrics, Inc.
781-769-4277

That's the main office number for them. They do have a branch in Buffalo, so they're going to have a much better idea of who to recommend.
