In my 64 valiant wagon, i'm about to install a windshield gasket that I bought of of ebay to replace the leaking original. Should I use adhesive on the glass to rubber side? the rubber to metal side?

Does any one have any tips or suggestions for a glass replacement virgin?

the service manual will aid where to apply the adheasive.. I had to redo my 70 dart because none was used by the glass guy.

Just looked at my 65 FSM and it said to apply a small bead of sealer to the windshield flange and install the weatherstrip. Once the glass is install, apply a small bead of seal between the weatherstrip and glass (would assume on the outside). Hope this helps
