Anyone hear about this Performance valves?, they was sold as a Performance part in the middle of 70´s, (that is what my father said), this valve got a screw in the carb line plug to adjust air flow, and got a big cam.

My question is this: This valves are hard to get? I got one thanks to my father that bought it in those days, but it was removed ´cause it din´t worked with points ignition, now with HEI that valve works.

I will try to put some pictures of it soon.

A "performance" PCV valve...? Usually either the PCV valve works, or it doesn't work. (and usually either it's correct for the application or it ain't! )

So, they are hard to get?, it was removed ´cause whe engine was turn off It keeped in pre-ignition, only turn off when a battery terminal was disconnected

Very interesting...looks like the "Interparts" name was used by Chrysler Mexico for aftermarket parts distribution (just as Chrysler Canada used the "Autopar" name). That logo design suggests this valve was made sometime in the late '80s or early-mid '90s. The large body of this valve makes me guess that it incorporates an oil separator to keep liquid oil out of the intake tract. That would be useful in situations where a lot of liquid oil could get sucked into the PCV valve, such as when using an aftermarket valve cover without a baffle below the valve. But, such an oil separator can also be bought separately and installed underneath a regular PCV valve.

I'm not sure, but I think in your bottom photo, I see what could be an adjustment screw. Perhaps this is an adjustable-orifice PCV valve, maybe useful for dialling in the amount of crankcase ventillation with a non-stock carburetor setup?

Anyhow, these are just guesses. I've never seen a valve like this. Where did you get this one? Are there any part numbers on it?

It got time ago a part number, but it was printed in the first red line, now barely 2 numbers can be seen, the adjustment screw really make changes in engine behavor, if you turn full inward almost kills the engine, if you got full outward engine revs but star shaken a lot until you adjust mixture and aceleration screws in the carb.

OK, so it is an adjustable PCV valve. Very interesting! It would have had to have come from a dealer parts counter. Perhaps you can still get one from a dealer, if you find a cooperative and helpful one. Take the valve to a good Chrysler dealer parts department, show it to them and ask for another!
