What if I had a piece shaped like this?
Compress clay/playdough balls under points A and B as the plate is held parallel to the sway bar.
The clay would give you the thickness and angles for the two wedge-shaped spacers.
Bolts at A and B would go through the K
I would probably file/grind the spacers from soft aluminum.
The L-bracket could still reinforce hole C.
Would the L-bracket be overkill if this mounts to the K-frame at two points?

Would the triangular piece be too ugly?

Doesn't even need to be that complicated.....

Keep the Lower mounting point (with the L Bracket), and extend the upper bolt thru the K-member. The spacers are just because of the slightly different angles of the brackets and K-member.

Like this (look at last picture at top of thread too)

That is simpler. What happened to Lou's pics?
How did he do it on his 64?

My webspace died for some reason. Need to get it running. On my 64 I just welded the addco mounts solid and welded them to the K near the front where the strut rod washers sit.
