I don't think you need a whole folder............

It's like having a seperate folder for BBS's BBD's 1920's 1945's........

I just thought it would take alot of the tech discussions off line from the main forum...it is a lot more intense than changing a carb....at least for most.. and a major expense if done right...so i will drop it now GRT

I've been on other forums that break down things into alot of smaller forums.......

It gets really confusing when you can't decide where something belongs because it's a blend of 2 or more things..........

Just to let you know, the site 'management' did see your request and we had some discussion around it.

As noted, we are seeing a lot more Turbo messages, discussion and projects but it's not to the point where we need a seperate forum.

Another idea is to get a member to start a turbo related installation or information article that we can add to the articles section as a "quick reference guide.
All it takes is some "copy / past" and editing work from turbo threads already posted.
Let us know if anyone wants to work on something like this.

I volunteer. I'll be busy this weekend but should be able to throw something together next week.

Just wanted to give you an update: I've finished putting together a little archive of posts containing some of the most useful things about turbos posted here. It is about 10,000 words long  , and there were times I just got lazy and linked the whole thread.

Next week I will see if I can edit this archive into some useful articles. This will not be a straight cut and paste job. It's too long to occupy one page, even though I plan to prune the heck out of it. So I will send it in as a series of articles covering different topics: Selecting a turbo, installation, tuning, etc.
