Can you tell us more about the mods your engine and car have. There are some NOS nuts that hang out here that can help you out...

What kind of NOS system is it, Fogger nozzles or a plate?
What is your fuel pressure when spraying?
How do all the plugs look with the 100 HP shot, any "light colored" tips?

How much timing are you running and, as Doug asked, how much fuel pressure. :)

Mine ran fine at 150, real good at 160, and melted at 175.

the car is a 67 dart street leagle that weigh 2650lbs
the engine is a 225 /6 bore .060 stock crank 1973
600cfm carb .490 lift cam
the block was cut down .030 and the head cut .120
it got MSD 6A and valves out of a 318 head that
was made to fit at the michine shop.
My nos is a elbrock plate and the timing is set
at 30 deg. and at 28 deg.when sparying.
the fuel perssure stays at around 5 to 6 lbs.
the plugs are dark brown .
the car ran 14.4 1/4 mile at 94 mph and bet
a mustang who ran 14.5 He wants a remach
and I can't loose to him this year.

If it was me, with 150 shot, I would back the timing to about 22 degrees, and 6.5 fuel pressure minimum, with the nitrous pressure at 1,000 psi. Also run a plug with a short ground electrode. Are you running the early or late style head. If the early head, a NGK B7ES or B9ES. The 9 is colder then the 7.

What does that thing run on motor only? On a 100 shot you should be well into the 13's.

More tuning work... :P
Distributor work, try some different timing setting. Slants like lots of initial spark advance but you need to watch the total, less total advance will give you a better MPH and keep the the engine from 'melting down'.

Next comes the carb jetting. It sounds like you need to lean it down because the plugs are "dark" as you noted earlier. A leaner mixture will make it go a bit faster. This is another "fine line" to walk, go to far lean and you will cause a melt-down.

What is the 60 ft time? You said that the car leaves the line with "no spin".. that tells me that the car needs to come off the line harder.
Keep taking weight out.

When are you hitting the nitrous? W/100 shot you should be gaining 2 seconds, not 6 tenths.

Mine will go 12:40's easy on 100 and I have 600# on ya.

I am running about 25* total timing when I spray 100.

Keep your bottle pressure at at least 900#. If you do not have a gauge, get one.

Converter should not be much of an issue with that much gear and spray.

Also, with a 4.56 you may be running out of motor before the end.

Mine with 4.56's was turning on a 6000 shift light at about 1100 feet on a 100 shot.

I'm shifting mine at 6200 this year w/3.91's and a 150 shot. I am in 3rd before the 1/8th mile mark, and it does not turn on the shift light before the end.

Keep feeding us info, we'll get ya sorted out.

If your buddy with the Stang is up for a little road trip, I could give him a big surprise for ya.

I hit the nos, at the start. MY car weighs 3250 with me, and is a 170. Fri nite at the Valdosta race, I put down two runs on motor and went 17.9 and 18.0. turned on the bottle, and went a 13.37 at 98 mph. I was a little too lean, so added fuel pressure. Sat was much hotter, also, but was running 13.7's at 97 mph. You should pick up more then you are. I was on a 125 shot.
