You need to do a little research/study, before considering either one. Propane is a fuel, Nitrous is an oxidiser. Gasoline is a fuel, air is an oxidiser. Two completely different animals.

Ummm, I think you are thinking about diesel engines, they use propane as a kinda nitrous-ish setup.

If you want to be brave you can use propane as the extra fuel for use with nitrous, but I wouldn't recommend it for a first timer. Gasoline and alcohol (ethanol or methanol, but I prefer ethanol as it's less corrosive) are much easier to use with nitrous as all the hard work has been done by the kit manufacturers. Propane only works on diesels as they have excess air with which to burn the propane.

Well to get this back on course (?)
almost all nitrous kits can be used on a slant 6.
Easiest way is to use a 4 bl. intake manifold and
a plate or top shot system thru the carb.
But of course propane is a whole different subject.

I run a Top Gun plate system, but I feel that an NOS or Nitrous Express would be a better choice. Whatever you do, do not skimp on fuel supply to it.
