A few months ago i bought the JC Whitney "Engine Rebuild in a Bottle" kit. It has a bottle of oil addative and these pellets you put in your cylinder. THe additive supposedly coats cylinder walls and rings to restore oil contorl and comrpession, and the pellets supposedly do the same on in the compbustion chamber.

Tonight I gave my tired 225 in my van an oil change an figured I would try out the rebuild in a bottle product.

The van always blows smoke ( big cloud) on staretupo and always has a faint to moderate trail of smoke as I drive, so I will compare how it runs tomorrow and watch for better oil control.

I have absolutely no faith that these products will do anything really noticeable to the motor, but I'll report back on my findings.

Before and after compression tests???????????

I will do that too. The previous owner had compression tests done on all the cylinders so I do have some "before" data.

Sooo...How did ya make out?
