I want to tow a small, very light trailer with a 63 Valiant.
How difficult would it be to put a hitch on the back?
Were there hitches made for later A-bodies?
I'm looking for inexpensive alternatives. It will be removed after the trip.

Before we start talking about hitches...

...what kind of brakes does your Valiant have?

10 inch drums in front, 9 inch in back.
I'm talking about a small trailer, like a 4' x 6' Trailer ( loaded 1500 lbs max).

I made my own '65 Valiant hitch and towed some amazingly heavy stuff with it. But I DID "poke" two holes in the bumper to do it. Oh, 9" all around, but I know how to drive in less than ideal circumstances.

One odd side effect of the hitch was that when my mail-in license renewal didn't go through for some reason, it took both me and the cops almost two years to catch it.
