HI Dan: Redding is one of the best local tracks and has "catered" to the slant6 group. It is very low key being a local track. They give us the premiere shaded area under the big oak trees for parking. They wave the tech and car fees..you just pay the admission fee. We get our own lanes and have fun running as many times as you want. The larger tracks might give you two per day...but at Redding, you will have fun changing tire pressure...taking off the air cleaner to get better times..loosening the fan belt a little...Dr Dodge (Doug) will be there if you want to "squeak" your timing a little or play with your carb setting. We run the stock cars as a group on Sat so it is very competitive for all stock cars also. There will be trophies for the first four places and believe it or not, I won 4th place at the last event with my stock 65' Signet. We need cars to show Redding we are serious about our slant6 sport. Could you please mark August 26-27 on your calendar and be there at Redding. Drop me a email at
waynee@dcsi.net when you get time. Also, redding has a good website with photos of some of the previous Inliner/slant6 cars. There website is
www.reddingraceway.com. What year slant6 car do you have?
Paul: How are you coming on your two projects? Did you get the 3:23's into one of your cars? See you soon..Wayne in Chico
