I bought a valve cover for my Slant six but have a minor problem.

MY stock cover has three holes in it
1x oil cap
1x PVC Valve
1x Breather.

But the new one has 2 holes
1x Breather
1x Hole(maybe pvc valve or oil cap)

Am I ratarted and just dont know what to hook up or do i need to get another hole drilled?

Ohh, you bought one of those aftermarket chrome valve covers didn't you? one hole is for pcv and the other is for crankcase ventillation. You will have to add some baffles to it also. I just add I have one of these on my Duster. Don't overtighten it and it won't leak. Here is a pic of my valve cover after I added the baffles. Drill a couple of small halfcircles in the baffles so any excess oil can drain away. I just add my oil through the breather hole. Buy a funnel.

Yargh, it's those poorly-built Chinese chrome valve covers again. See here.

Right, but yours is a pre-'70, while the original poster's is obviously a '70-up application.

Nope! You and the previous owners are mistaken. '68 covers had one hole, at the rear, with a grommet, for a PCV valve, and one "chimney", at the front, with a breather/oil fill cap.

There were no slant-6 valve covers with three holes before 1970. The '70-'80 valve covers bolt directly onto the '60-'69 slant-6s, so it would be easy to make such a swap without any evidence of modification except for the later-type cover itself.
