Can't find a picture of it and where do you recommend one buy one? I just found one website for this manifold.
Or does anyone here have an extra one they would like to sell?

http://www.offyparts.com/

Specifically:

http://www.offyparts.com/product_info.p ... 6a509d4a70

The price is a bit steep at $320 for a new manifold. I would shop ebay, swap meets, and local classifieds before buying new. I picked up my offy intake never been installed for $60.

do I have the part number wrong? 5370? or 5270
for automatic Barracuda 5270A?
Ebay for sure just need to be sure what I am bidding on.
The Clifford one come with EFI bosses yes?
I plan someday to FI this engine, but I am looking for more low end torque which Offy should diliver.

P/N is 5270. Searching by P/N on eBay won't get you very far...?

I am unclear about a couple of things.
Quoted "Intake manifold heat helps fuel milage and cold engine operation.
No heat on the intake helps you get max power. If it is a street car that you drive a lot and you have the Offy intake, I would use the intake heat feature. (keep the heat riser valve operational)"

I plan on using the Durta Duals. (rear manifold just cut and sealed off)
The factory setup has the exhaust and the intake gasketed and bolts to one other just below the carb. Does the Offenhauser set up this way? Can they be bolted to each other? If not wouldn't the exhaust leak at this point? Doesn't the Offenhauser intake have a coolant circuit for this adding of heat?
I would think that sealing off the front branch and the heat riser would be the correct way.

That is very good advice.

If you are buying used make sure it comes with the adapter for the current Holley / AFB base. I see alot of them for sale without it. It will be one less thing to mess with.

More clearity needed. Are all 5270 manifolds the same? I plan to bolt on a Holley 4 barrel. Do I need an adapter plate? My 904 is rod connected. Do I need this kit? Linkage Kit: Barracuda Quad Manifold w/ Automatic Trans (5270A)
[OFFY-5270-A] $93.84
Linkage Kit for Barracuda Quad Manifold with Cable Operated carb and Automatic Trans

Yes, intake manifold only, used, very good condition with the carb plate. $150 plus shipping. I have never shipped anything out of the US, so I will have to see what is involved.

BrenCuda,

With my Dutras and Offy intake I have used both spreadbore and squarebore 4bbls..it just takes adapters. In some previous posts Reed, I believe, suggested I try a 2" high spacer. I did. It's great. I am gonna add on another inch one day soon just to see what 3 inches does, but 2 is better than one is better than a mere plate adapter. More pull in lower gears and rpms.

The Offy is often used on Jeeps too, so look on ebay for Offenhauser manifold, jeep intake, etc. Usually run $150 to $250 depending on particular sale and goodies that come with the manifold.
