Who is going to make it down to the Lonestar Shootout in Baytown in October? I saw in a previous post that Mike Jefferies is going to go. Is anyone else?

I had intended to race, if only to support the cause. The Swinger threw a rod 2 weeks ago, so she disagreed with me.

Aaron and I are planning to come down there with his Dart Sport. We won't be racing, though. Can't afford to have something go wrong with his daily driver.

It's about a 4-1/2 to 5 hour trip for us. I think we'll trailer his car to my brother's place in Spring, then drive the rest of the way to Baytown. We haven't been to any drag races, so both of us are really looking forward to this trip.
