Guys,
I hope this is taken as the compliment it is intended to be. :)
If the owner of that AWESOME RED DART /6 that ran at Norwalk this past weekend is on this site, let me be the 1st to congradulate you on a pristene, super fast, super cool, CLASS ACT, ride.
I wanted to get in to introduce myself but yet not nose in when you were busy.
I ran my /6 2bbl '67 A-100 Friday night in the Gamblers Race and I can say I was "1st runner up in my race in the 1st round"..... The way my buddies put it so I'd feel better, I guess....LOL
Took me a couple minutes to get it straight how I lost with a 19.761 on a 19.75 Dial in.
Cutting a .137 light was my down-fall against a .067 light by the big block Dart who chased me down to the final light. :(
Anyway, congrats to that Red /6 Dart for a great representative for the SLANTS...
Terry

Terry,

From the pics I saw, that was John Mayberry's car. Great guy with a beautiful and well built car. Glad to hear he's in the 13s on motor now.

Don't believe John gets on the site at all, though. I believe he makes the Columbus Slant race/Classic and usually the Nats and a few others around OH/MI area.

Lou

That was John's car. Gordie Stevens was there, as was Romeo Furio! I spent some time out of the timing tower to drool all over the A100's down there.
