Heck of a nice car, clean-clean-clean, like the black roof w/the green paint, but hope you're NOT driving at night with those Chinese toy headlites

Nice looking car. yea once you get a gear and convertor things will change anyway and it will be a whole new ballgame on the tunning. But with the way you discribed the timing and its actions when trying to go one way or the other sounds like something a little bit out of spec to perform good. The people you spec of taking it to should be all over it and know pretty much right off with a test drive of where things need to start being checked at. I am in Tenn. also & I here good things about them. Let us know the results, it should be a blast after worked out on the tune.

wow man, cool ride!

if you can play a little with your rear end gearing I'd go for less tall gearing (numericall) say 3.31 or 3.54 (OK, translate that to your rear end avalible ratios, I'm thinking about my dana 44 avalible gearsets)

that is to say I think your mill should have high rear end ratio, but I'd go with the less radical one that makes that combo work.
