Shhh Ron we don't need to let the yankees know about our secret.

Sorry we don't have a snake that eats the snow out of your driveway. Your wife would kill it with a broom if she saw it.

EEEEEEKKKK! SNAKE!!!!! KILL IT!!!

lights out.

actually, mine normally picks up frogs for the boy and cleans fish with me. she also pulls the snakes out of our gardens and freaks the neighbors out with them.

kind of fun to watch actually.

........and we haven't had a decent snowfall in minnesota for five years at best! it only snowed three time here last year. got maybe 5 inches total if we were lucky.

Damn you are lucky. I was with a girl last week who I thought was pretty cool until a lizard fell out of a low hanging tree branch and into her lap while we were sitting at a redlight (had the top down on the Miata). She went bezerk and now my CB radio doesn't work anymore (she tried to kill the lizard with it) and broke the latch on my center console. She felt pretty bad about it afterwards and cryed all the way home (why, I do not know). I spend most of my time just trying to figure out what people are crying about.

Actually she tried to kill it with microphone. But since it is a Cobra CB that has the speaker, digital readout, and most of the electronics in the mic itself, it is pretty much ruined. It sounds like something broke loose inside the head, I can hear it rattling around whenever I shake it. She said she would buy me a new one.

No, I didn't make this up, it actually happened. I will post a pic of my broken center console if you would like. Weird stuff happens when the top is down. I have been hit in the head with acorns and crapped on by pigeons while sitting at stopsigns and in friend's yards. The sad thing is the lizard was no bigger than my index finger. I guess she was just terrified of small reptiles.

Well apparently she felt bad about killing my radio so she went to the pawn shop and got a $10 Radioshack CB with a big dent in the top. It works but the range is diddly squat compared to the Cobra.

It is still good for Miata to Miata communication, which is all I use it for in the first place. I just won't be able to transmit over the mountains like I used to.
