I've been looking at converting with the megasquirt computer for an efi slant six. I'm using a 4.3L GM TBI on the one barrell manifold. Yeah, there is better option but the TBI was 30 bucks. So can anyone help point me in the right direction? My pops said to ask if anyone could send me teir tables, or basic maps, but that may not work??? Just guessing, but asking never hurts. thanks

Theres too many variables... I'll give you my tables (and Lou has posted his) but interms of a starting point, you adjust one parameter (REQ_FUEL) using the built in calculator, and the default map is plenty good enough to get you going. Different versions of firmware also matter. Don't worry about others tables. Start with the default tables and go from there. Stick with stock ignition, iron out a basic fuel map, then add MS controlled ignition if thats the route you want to go.

Thats a mighty big throttle body for such a narrow opening... I'd like to see the adapter your going to build for that! Not sure how everythings going to work out.... you may have issues trying to shove two barrels worth of fuel/air through one small hole.... $30 tbi is not a fantastic deal, its about average for a used unit. You can get them for that much all day long at a junkyard. Find a used offy or clifford 4bbl manifold on ebay to use that throttle body on.

yeah the orignal idea was to build a tbi system combined with the hyperpak design by hammerforming and I was going to choose the 4.3L chevy, or a 3.9 dodge. The one barrell was based on the 2.5L chevy tbi he got NEW for $30, but I think sometimes it's just not worth it to save the money.
Any opinons? ideas?
