Well I found a receipt for the air cleaner for my /6 and it fits the carter bbd perfect. It is a K&N piece and it is a bit tall but after you use a rubber heater cap off it really works good. The number is KN60-1080. For everyones FYI

Ill try for pic's this weekend but it is not a drop down base. Now I said it was tall and it is, but if you use a shorter fiter(they should let you exchange it) it works great! In my case I found that out to late and broke the seal on the filter element. I had an old top that I bent the top down and that worked.
