Post subject: Buying a Carb

I've been fighting this BBD for a while and I'm not convinced I'm doing it any good. It pumps intermittently, has an epoxied step up arm, drips from one barrel, and I think has a baseplate vacuum leak.
If I were gonna buy another one, what would be a good one to look for? There seem to be so many different versions out there, are they all the same? If not, which number ranges would good to pick from?

The best fix is to get a 2 barrel "Super Six" setup.
