Hello,

I bought the springs and have them installed now. They work fine for me with oversize valves, Reed cam and 4 bbl. THey are very close to the specs given in the ad and seem to be a set of 340 springs... I have no complaints, but remember the seller doesn't answer emails.

The valves are from enginebuilder.com and they have sold many sets of these.
I have purchased a few sets and onde once, I did find one valve with a defect. I emailed them and they sent me a replacement valve, no questions asked.

What are your cams specs?
I'm asking because I0ve just bougth a MP P4286681 cam and I was going to purchase the MP 340 springs P3412068 along with the valve springs retainers MP P4452033 and the valve seals MP P3690963 because that was the whole sugested package from Mopar Performanace.

I was considering other springs, but I'm not sure about spring pressure and how it will affect the cam. I do not wan't any premature cam wear since it took me a lot of time to find a Mopar Cam for the Slant Six.

Any help will be appreciated!!!

Also I boutght the 1,70 and 1,44 valves from them but haven't received them yet, I will let you know how they look and work once I have them.

Regards,
Martin

It is a used cam that i recently bougth on Ebay. The guy that sold me the cam told me that it has only run 40 / 50 miles since new, but he took it out because it was too radical for a basically stock set up.

Although I already have improved the oiling system on my /6, I haven't check on Doug's modifications yet, I asume that they should be basivcally the same.

Where can I check Doug's oil sys improvements?

there is a quick link on the main page or just search it, the best modification i find is the direct oil feed to the cam and oil pump gear contact point, i used a cooper line and compression fitting with the 5bolt oil pump. http://good-times.webshots.com/photo/22 ... good-times
