OK... I bought the Mopar Slant 6 elec ign conversion off ebay... the wiring diagram / instuctions are pathetic. Question I have deals with what is called ... IGN. 2 "B" ( pin 3 on ballast resistor) and IGN 1 "A" ( pin 4 on ballast res.) The "directions" seam to indicate Ign 2 wire hooks up to the brown wire from the firewall. IGN 1 wire to the Blue wire from firewall. I have a blue and brown wire coming thru the firewall on the drivers side in the corner and going to some sort of white resistor ( looks like a ballast resisitor ). Two blues attached to one side and two browns on the other side. Can I use this location to attach to ? There is a brown wire on the "BAT" post on the coil....is this the same wire, can I just go to that?

Also, can I keep the stock coil or do I need to upgrade to something different?

Use the single resister diagram. You'll want to get a coil for electronic ignition, so ditch your old points type coil (mine lasted a week). I use a MSD Blaster 2 with their .8 ohm resister.
