My turn signal switch went kaput and I'm going to order a new headlight switch, just for preventative maintenence (dunno if/when it was last replaced, but it looks old and heavily corroded, though it does still work). I found a complete turn signal switch assembly and a headlight switch on Rockauto, both from Standard. I just wanted to double check and make sure they're the better option out of what's currently available before dropping the cash for 'em (good Lord, 50 bucks for the turn signal assembly).

I've used Standard brand for years and have been pleased with only one exception (got 4 bad O2 sensors in a row!). Double check that the new switch and old have the same pinouts before you put the new one in.

It is probably a good idea to check the headlight switch connector too- often they overheat and melt. You can open and clean the headlight switch if you're very careful, but if you can buy a replacement that's even better.
