will running the carb without a choke affect the mpg?..just askin cause im tryin to get to the bottom of my 8 miles to the gallon gas problem (holley 1920)

I had a chev inline six cylinder one time, it stared to get horrible gas milage all of a sudden. It was the vacuum advance.

The only time a choke will cause bad gas mileage is if it is not open all the way. :shock:
