Ok now that iv'e finally decided to keep the 225 and forget about the v8 swap. I am going to start building my 74 duster. Eventually I want to put a turbo and intercooler on it, so where do I start? The motor is a 1974 225
the miles read 24,561 but I suspect it has rolled over 99,999 since then. The guy I bought it from couldn't tell me to much about it. I have about $1500 for right now to start with and after that I will buy things as I need them. So, what would you start with if you were me? Advice please.

What do you want your car to be. A street car good mpg a street/strip car sacrafiace some mpg for performance a cruse in car or a drag race car only. All of us can adivise how to reach your goal but each one will be little different or a lot different. Thanks Ron Parker :D

I'm here in in riverside next to the university. As far as what kind of car I want, I would like to build a street/strip car. It will be driven alot, but I'm willing to sacrifice a little mpg for what I want. I was thinking maybe a descent size turbo and a dual exhaust system, i heard efi can be expensive so maybe i'll stay carbed I already have a 81/4 rear but maybe i'll add posi. and i would like a t5 swap, should make a fun cruiser, what you think?

Unless you run two turbos, dual exhaust is really out of the question.
I asked a bunch of questions and got some real good answers from everyone about adding a turbo and EFI to my /6.
Use the search button (under the F in Forum) for turbo and all the threads should come up.
