One thing I know for sure is that if other old car parks in my driveway, I will be getting a divorce and I won't have a say in the matter. :(

My wife said if another car entered the yard, the consequences would be bad. It seems one car gives birth to another, and another, and another :D . Started with a 65 Dart convert (a long time ago) various Mopars came and went. Keeping it company are a 65 Barracuda, 65 Dart wagon, 65 Valiant convert (only slant 6) and 80 Cordoba. Too many? Naw!

Boy, I know how that is. They multiply like rabbits. I sold two of my mopars, so now I'm down to five.

Two is not too many, if you drive one, and play with the other. I always made certain one of my Mopars was a daily driver with real tags, and real insurance. She wouldn;t really divorce you, and would eventually learn to love the cars by the simple fact that they bring so much happiness to the man she loves. But maybe you could slow the spending down a little. In fact, that is pretty much my wife's point of view, and she has been a gem in this way for 39 years. She wants me happy, and figures she has a better companion when I am, as long as I don;t spend too much money at once on it..

In fact, this red car put my two girls through college. I bought it in 1993 for $700. I drove it for ten years while I had kids in collegel, and never made another car payment through that period. Very little went wrong with it. Each upgrade was made as a response to a need for routine maintenance. When it needed brakes, I went to the junk yard and converted to disks, etc. After the kids graduated, the DArt became a garage queen, and was restored.

I wasn't kidding when I said she would divorce me. If she knew even 1/10 of the money I put in to the car i'd be single. I already have 4 vehicals in the driveway now. 04 camry, 04 frontier, 02 work van and the 67 cuda.

Be careful Bren, you keep tuning on that Slant and you may just fall in love with it. Be a shame if you forget all that nonsense about a pig block.

My wife collects rocks (under 20 tons) and driftwood (we live on a 150 mile long lake....in a rain forest.....yeah theres wood)

She paints .......lots (oils on canvas if you must know)

As long as I will truck her rocks (under 20 tons dear!) and put up with a driftwood wall 400 ft long at the beach and step over multiple drying canvases.....I can have any wrecks I want.

Of course we both have snowboard collections that plug the porch all winter.....

Its both depending on which family member or friend you ask.

please could we stop with the no BB suggestions. If the slant comes out it won't be a SB.
Have a look at the plan.
