Hi i wondered if anyone can tell me the opening and closing order of the cylinder head(valve head?). Well in any case the head that sits on top of the cylinders with the valves in it. And if you know how much they should be tighten too when mounted back, would help much too. Oh and its a 225 from 67 if that matters in any way. Thanks in advance.

He needs the valve adjusting procedure, not the head tightening sequence.

I think he's looking for the valve openning and closing sequence. Not sure why he would want it, but thats what it sounds like to me. Maybe to set cold valve lash with only turning the engine once?

that's easy, with a simmetrical engine, you draw an imaginary line in the middle. When one rocker arm is on the top intake travel, you set lash on both valves on the opposite cyl. (like in 1-6 2-5 3-4)
you can't set lash with only 1 turn of the crank since i turn of the crank equals only half turn on the cam, so on the first crank turn you lash 1 - 5 - 3 and in the second 6 . 2 . 4

hope to be clear...

Thank you very much for the help. The thing I am going to do is to remove the old valve head and straighten it out, cause it probably is twisted. (Leaking coolant into the oil.) And put it back together.
Thanks for the valve adjusting proc too.
Usefull tips are also welcome cause I´m going to do this for the first time.
