Try the new Thrush Version of the Flow Master 40. It is great!
Fully welded, 2.25 in. out and in offset just right for $29.95.

No droning at cruise, but when you step on it, Wow! Nice sound at idle.

I special ordered it from Summit, Jeg's does list it.

Is this the summit part number you were mentioning? Looks like the price went up a 1.70...

Yes, that is the one I am using. I thought it might be too loud, but my friend has a SL6 with the turbo muffler and we both think the turbo is louder. The Thrush has a different sound and will get loud when you stomp on it but, I drive 128 miles a day and at cruise it doesn't drone at all. Both of our cars are upgraded SL6's and have 2.25" exhaust all the way back. I would say the exhaust system upgrade is worth another mile to two miles per gallon. I have a hard time keeping my foot out of it so my log book shows only a 2 mpg increase since it was installed. The sound at idle is nice and crisp.

I had been running a stock muffler with the a 2" head pipe for about 3 feet and 1 1/2" all the way back.
