Which hotel do most of the slant six guys stay at Clay City? Is there one that everyone tries to get or are they all about the same?

I was wondering that too. I drove over there today they were re-doing the bleachers. Looked around for a motel, found one I liked and they just had a few rooms left. It is out in the country though. It was in Irvine. I'd say in Winchester or Mt Sterling there are plenty of rooms. I haven't made reservations yet so if someone has an idea let me know.

I need to get a reservation in quick, usually I find a room in Winchester, there are a bunch of motels there. Here is a list of Motels in the area.

Actually, it's cheaper for me. Since i have to pay for fuel to tow to Clay City, anyway, and the R.V. is a loaner, it saves me money. Also it's easier on my wife, than riding in a bread truck (chey G-30 van).

Aww Ron, you spoiled the surprise! I have the box hidden, and am waiting for my transponders to bury at the finish line for the track position sensor on the car. Blaine's gonna be running the video camera with the tree reader in it. Worst light I'll have all weekend will be a .505. HehHeh! BB
