Both of those are interesting. Thank you for looking them up. The Accel instructions are nicer looking than anything I have seen before. All of mine are just verbal. Yes, the pink wire is the ign on/off wire for the Accel ECU. Any pink wire anywhere in the harness is ignition switch voltage. I did go ahead and wire in a toggle, and it should work as intended. I have not run the engine yet, as the oil pressure sender line is not hooked up yet after taking things apart again, but when I turn the key on with both the fuel pump and the ECU power off, the engine management system seems to be truly dead now.

One curious thing, while the 1.75 volts did go away fromt he switched fuse block, I still register .05 volts on the switched fuse block. So there is some bleed through some elecronic device some where in the switched circuits. The only thing I items I can think of which are not disconnected by a switch are the fuel gauge, the volt meter, and the temp gauge. The moment you turn the key, ithey register. Could these be a source of feed back, however small? I still don;t get it though, there is no batt power to these devices. A mystery. :?

Now I'm pretty sure a diode would do the trick on pink wire............

As for the .05volts, there may be a capacitor in the gauges that hasn't fully discharged....
