well i found out my electrical problems, some a hole that had the car screwed up the wiring. they tryed in vein to install a aftermarket radio and started cutting random wires. and left live wires open so they could short out anything they touched. so i have the fun task of sorting all this out and putting it back together. i still cannot find a fsm or any wiring digram for reference. so i have broken up my questions into the following:

#1: on the motorola mark I am/fm radio there is 2 sets of wires, one set for power and one set for the mono dash speaker. anyone know what set is witch?

#2: on the turn siginal flasher what color code is the orginal wiring so i can follow it back. or even a picture or how one should look?

#3: where can i buy a FSM? i live in ne portland oregon.

For a FSM (and maybe a couple other books you might find useful), go here.

For a "right now" '73 Dart wiring diagram, go here.

For a double whopper® with cheese and bacon, go here.

This is for the '74. Should be pretty close.

Speaker wires are Dark Green and Black 18 Gauge

Main Power is 18 Gauge Red
Dial Lamp is 18 Gauge Orange

thanks guys that helps a bit, but i'm still kinda in the dark. also looks like i have some other electrical issues, i'll add them on this post tomorrow when i get to them. errr ok i am also having some issues adjusting the manual steering box. anyone an expert on this?

also the stock am/fm is dead i pulled it and fired it up on a spkr, and a 12V pwr supp and not a sound.

looks like the botched wire job the last owner did shorted almost everything in the dash. thank god its mostly the radio and bulbs.

ok a replacement flasher didn't help and i have no voltage at the flasher plug, i also still do not have backup lights. hopefully the dash lights are just burnt out. i'll find that out this week when i drop the wheel and open up the dash.

I bought my FSM from Rockauto.com and its been spot-on with my wiring. I checked their site for your Dart and they have it for $52.99 (BISHKO Part # 5140). It didn't take long for me to get it in the mail either. Hope that helps. -Dan
